Quick Quiz for Republicans

What’s going to cost the U.S. more over the next decade: the exploding costs of entitlements like Social Security and Medicare or Bush’s tax cuts?

Over the next 10 years Bush’s tax cuts what will cost the government roughly $2.5 trillion in lost revenues?

Entitlements.

Tax cuts don't "cost" the government anything since it was never their money to begin with.

Is that the best you have? That's a pretty pedantic technicality that totally fails to address the real issue. The government has a budget. Budgets work by money coming in being balanced with money going out. If the money coming is drastically reduced by tax cuts it has the same affect as if the money going out in any one area greately increases. The question is, which has a more major impact on the budget...Bush's tax cuts or these social services?
