I'm not sure what this has to do with politics, but....

This movie is a great example of how a lot of people, myself included, think society is headed. Not to that extreme of course. I think once we are dumb enough, the personal freedoms you see in Idiocracy will be impossible. We will be a one world government, with schools that teach exactly what we need to know to 'get a job'... In other words, slaves. But slaves with MTV and HDTV porn and 3D MMORPG's and who knows what else to keep us sedated and 'happy'.

So less of the crazy stuff, but way more of the 1984 mind control stuff.

Except, the extremes of the future do not care if we can grasp them now.

Lace it with MTV, RAP Video Vixens and then say that it is not pretend.

Add in moon journey.
add in vaccines.
Add in that many people can read.
add in cars and cell phones.

The extremes of the future do not care if we can grasp them now
