I have a question about the dem candidates

After all the posts, all the speeches, all the debates, etc.....

Is there any democratic candidate who:

Doesn't want some form of universal heath insurance?

Doesn't want to get our troops out of Iraq?

Doesn't want to change the need for money in campains?

Doesn't want to unite us more as a single country?

Doesn't want to reduce our deficit and debt?

Doesn't want to improve our trade balance?

Etc.........

The list here could go on, but I think I've made the point. There isn't a whole lot of difference between them as to what they want to accomplish.

MOST of what they want to accomplish cannot be done via executive order, so they will need Congress to pass the appropriate legislation.

the make up of Congress won't be much different no matter who gets elected, should it be one of the dems.

Obviously, if Hillary or Obama, are elected, their senate seats will be empty. Other than that you're looking at an identical congressional makeup, no?

There is a much more substantial difference between the dems and the repubs at this point in time. 41 republicans in the senate, voting together, can, and may, prevent ANY of these goals being reached regardless of who is elected.

When I ask "how" (which gets people angry), a simple, "I'm going to tell congress I want this done, or I'm going to appoint a commission, committee to offer suggestions of how to get this done, etc. are things I'd settle for.

ALL THE REPUBLICANS SCARE ME, even the ones in congress.

We've pretty well exhausted, I think, our arguments for and against individual candidates at this point. Iowa is a bout to be history.

I will vigorously do what I can to help any of these democrats win the general election, as I believe each of them will move the country in a much improved direction, or at least try their best to so do.

^ we are both moderate Dem's and tend to see a lot of things the same.

I would agree with what you have said. Any Dem will do me just fine.

Now take cover and get ready.... INCOMING!!

She has no effective experience and has fought against change and reform her entire seven years in the senate.

She'll cost your party the election when nominated and likely even your control over both houses.

Either we pick someone who will actually win

or we deal with the next republican.

Yes and no----We seem to always allow the who can win test as though we have bought the hype of the press hook, line and sinker! Might be if we stop letting the press influence our thinking we might be better off.

ANY democrat can win if all the liberals of the country actually went out and voted.

What they all have in common is that they are trying to achieve a position of extreme power over others and generally propose to expand that power, particularly domestically. The same goes for the Republicans. Almost all of the canidates from both parties accept the fundamental status quo and support a generally imperialist foreign policy. The differences are mostly rhetorical and a matter of personality. The system will not change much regaurdless of who gets elected, because we are working within the confines of the system itself rather then actually overthrowing it.

Some facts please.

Also, please note that I haven't said any of them will accompllsh any of this, only that they all have these goals.

If we pick someone, and show up and vote, then that someone should actually win, no?

I notice, so far, I'm not getting my question answered?

Why is it so hard to simply answer the question asked?
