Obama/Edwards

How many see this coming down the pike? Edwards has mostly very favorable things to say about Obama and talks about him quite a bit. I predict that in one or two more elections that Edwards will drop and support Obama. In the end he could end up as a running mate if Obama takes the nomination.

That wouldn't bother me one bit. An Obama & Edwards team sounds like heaven.

Of course after eight years of Bush & Cheney even Bevis & Butthead would look good to me.

Obama's numbers + Edward's numbers = Nomination

This formula worked in Iowa.
This forumla worked in New Hampshire.

Clinton or Obama do not need another Senator.
What strategic voting value would Edwards bring in?

Better to bring in a govrernor from the Rocky Mountain States.

Richardson? Is Napolitano a Dem.? she would be good too.

Poor Edwards. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

I hope he stays in until at least Super Tuesday, if for no other reason, than to keep his anti-corporate platform in the public debate. If not for him, neither Hillary or Obama would even pay the slightest lip service to the problems of runaway corporate control of our government.

he would bring the southerners, and the women...there are more people in the south than in the rocky mountain states, and the south has more electoral votes...

neither he nor obama have the classification as elitist, new england liberal and that will go a long way....

personally, i would like to see mark warner as vp, i really, really, really wanted him to run for president, but no go...maybe vp, but that could be asking too much

Not so fast. We have a poll in Nevada showing Edwards in the contention with a three way tie. There are 48 states to go and 99 out of every 100 Democratic voter has yet to vote. This thing is FAR from over.
