Right meaning any new business created to solve this problem will be monopolized by the coal industry. If John Joe wants to open a business will he have to open a "Franchized" business from the Coal industry? Will one be able to create and own their "OWN" unfranchized business? And who will provide the funding, the middle class workers paying their taxes letting the coal industry off the hook yet again. Same with gas stations.......

So, which is it then, JD?!

How can you say something like that, in the same breath as "he said, it's not his job to get anything done" (above)?

You are so full of shit.
And you can't read. His "vision" is pretty close to the "vision" of Hillary and Edwards.

His words last night in describing his job as president, stopped at supplying the vision.

Hillary gave a different answer; working that vision through the beauracracy.

I know, eliminating that beaurocracy is one of his visions. He will have to work that, also, through the very beauracracy he wishes to eliminate.

To my knowledge, she hasn't addressed any of that. All I've heard HER actually say is that she doesn't believe we can get energy from coal in a clean enough method, but she's open to some funding for research.

What follows the research will depend upon what the research finds, no? Her comments I heard in an interview recently on this were basically the future of coal will depend upon how "cleanly" we can get the energy.

That seems logical to me.

This is one area where people seem to be looking ahead too far.

$500 to 150 million people is 1.5 trillion dollars, is it not.

This would appear to be a totally separate thing from any tax cuts.

This money would have to be paid back to the funds they are rebated from, no?

He says the people will spend this money. Maybe. More likely most of it will go toward bills Even if they do spend it, unless they spend it on goods made in America, it's just taking a scenic route to China, is it not?

This reminds me, sorry to say, of our contract negotiations. Mangement would include a signing bonus of $300 if the contract was approved, and it would get approve over the objection of the union.

People simply wanted their $300 check. They didn't care what else was in the contract, until a few months later.

We tried to get the workers a better pay raise, which would be permanent and, over the years, be a lot more than that $300 bonus check.

EVERYONE, I think, is in favor of tax cuts for the middle and lower class, but I refer to his economic stimulus package he introduced this past week and described in the debate.

Obama giving a :rebate to everyone? This is exactly what Bush did a few years ago
after he won

My actual point was not just with the coal industry, but coorperation in general and that her statements on Coal made me think of this. My point is she took money from certain industries so will she make sure they have the upper hand and still be in charge over the small business owner and his private business. Will she tax the hell out of the coal industry for this funding or will it come from the small middle class business owner through their taxes. Will Shell oil company get the rights over the poor struggling "Frachized" business owner tax and his employees. Would you be able to start your own Bio=fuel business without one of the big oil companies name attached to it?

Your spin is just that, SPIN. And your spin is almost as strong as your denial: as in the way you denied how Hillary started a costly, devisive uproar with her comments about MLK. But, keep it up, dude; it's no skin off my back to keep you grounded to reality.

Do we have to spell it out for you?
