Tonights Debate - Jan 15

Interesting debate we have this evening. It's still going on here but overall nothing has been too heated, pretty much the same old stuff. IMO John is a spokesmen for the little guy and do believe that he would genuinely work hard to get his goals accomplished. On the other side of that, every question he's asked gets sort of side stepped right back to his agenda without getting fully answered. Of course, they are all doing that really but it's more noticeable with John.

No biggie, we'll leave them both. Eventually one of them will drop off.

They all sounded pretty good; but Hillary made a good point about Cheney's energy bill, being a sop to Big Oil/Gas.
Obama voted for it. not good

It took Brian Williams and Tim Russert 41 minutes to get to an issue-oriented question. The first portion of the debate was Hillary & Obama in the principal's office. Thanks, Hillary.

Moving on...one thing noticeable is that the audience seems to favor Obama.

Obama is having a good night, probably one of his best debate performances. The debates haven't been a strong suit of his, but he's tapped emotional heartstrings alongside informative responses very well tonight.

NBC totally screwed up the "2 questions" deal.

Okay, I removed it just to avoid confusion. We just had the same thought at the same time.

I agree and the whole racial thing went on way too long. Did you guys hear when the guy from the audience was screaming about the fact that all they were asking was racial questions? I totally agreed with him.
