I was pretty floored when I heard Obama say he is not organized.
Presidents have chief of staff, and a secretary to handle the paperwork; but an organized mind is essential to going thru policy options.

This is what I've been saying all along about Hillary.
She is disciplined, and capable of dealing with the various bureaus.
it IS her strong point, like Obama's is his vision skills.
She didnt even bother to read the 2002 NIE report on Iraq before she authorized George Bush to invade Iraq. Thats some fucking organizational skills shes got there. Must have slipped her mind or her clipboard..

Yup, I've seen "organizational skills" in action all too often.
I see it this way, too.

Example: someone (probably not Condoleezza Rice) had enough of a conscience to present the 08/06/01 "bin Laden determined to strike on U. S. soil" pdf memo to GWB at Crawford. GWB said, "O.K., you've covered your ass." Task completed. No paper piling up on his desk.
No serious questions cluttering up his mind.

Again, to me Obama is droll. He is the only one of the three debaters last night who came up with a real flaw. The fact that Hillary is jumping on this and running with -- as if he had admitted he likes to molest small children -- is just another example of how very limited and pedestrian her vision is.

Just for the record, Obama passed the bar the first time he took it.
Hillary did not. The most brilliant persons I have worked with have had messy desks.

A day after a debate in which both candidates sought to put aside an earlier spat over race and gender, Clinton, in an interview with Bloomberg Television, said she was ``taken aback'' by Obama's comments that he doesn't view the job of president as an ``operating officer.''

``It's important that we have a president who understands that you have to run the government,'' Clinton, a senator from New York, said. Americans want a president ``who is hands-on'' and does more than set goals.

Her spokesman, Phil Singer, signaled that they planned to continue raising questions about Obama's experience and style heading into the next round of caucuses and primaries by sending out an e-mail highlighting Clinton's comments and posting a clip of her statement on the YouTube Web site.

Obama spokesman Bill Burton responded by saying Clinton ``may believe this is a race for who would make the best chief of staff, but Barack Obama believes this country is looking for a president who has the leadership, vision and ability to bring people of differing views together around a common agenda.''

interesting that the hillary campaign is not planning on sending out emails highlighting her experience rather than her barbs at obama...good work senator clinton, just what this country needs, more divisiveness

Most Senators didn't. They got numerous briefings.

I'm just saying what he copped to.
Hillary is extremely detailed minded.
She has a better idea of the rough and tumble of DC politics, and can play that game effectively

We know this to be a fact that he cannot organize paper....he stated it exactly in those terms in the debate. Is it at all possible E-Man that there could be bias with yourself as well? Just asking.

Except most of those Senators are not running for president of the United States. And the NIE report was "eyes only" meaning that Senators could not send their aides to write up a frigging book report on a national security matter. Ive had this exact back and forth with another poster at the HBO boards a long time ago, and back then I said that this negligent act alone should disqualify her from running for the Democratic ticket, and I still stand by that sentiment.

Hillary basically voted to go to war based on "voices" around her and George Bush's guarantee. She certainly wasnt baseing her vote on the national intelligence estimate.

Oh please.

Hillary broke no "truce". The so-called "truce" related to race -and supposedly- gender issues. Hillary's complaint as described in this thread has nothing to do with either.

Come on, let's don't distort the reality of what's happening.

If Hillary wants to attack Obama for his experience, that's fair game.
