I hope you are right, for if Obama gets the domination, and enough people are hypocritical about racial issues, John McCain will be our next president...
i can certainly see the concern here, but what a lot of people are failing to remember is that not only has obama had an outpouring of white support in the states that have already had primaries, not all of that support has come from democrats, at least half of it has come from independents and some even from republicans...

if those people were going to be hypocritical about race, they would have already done so in the privacy of the voting booths they have already occupied...he's a crossover candidate, he can reach the broad spectrum of citizens and has received the support of the younger generation, for whom race is not really as big a factor as older americans...they are coming out in droves, many for the first time, in order to vote for obama...

But please, please keep calling Obama "Barack HUSSEIN Obama" and ask every day if this country is ready for a black president. And keep
those idiotic anecdotes coming, too, e.g., "I just saw a black person on a bus and I didn't like him, so this country is obviously not ready for a black president."

No--try---"I saw a black person on the bus and then the lady next to me said.........so don't vote for a black person!"

and a another thing, what about people who will vote for obama because they think they have to prove to themselves they actually aren't racists?

that's a different take on the matter....

Those who keep up this racist argument---cause there is no other way to view an argument that is at it's core---'don't vote for this person because he is black' ------ must seem to think that all the votes that Obama is getting would go to Hillary---NOT going to happen!!

Many of Edward and Obama's votes walk out of the Dem party if Hillary is the candidate!

I am convinced that only Edwards at the top can win in the general, or maybe Obama/Edwards.
I have to disagree Tune. Condi will NOT get any more of the african american vote than any other black repuke got in '06 --AND those who would not vote for Obama because he's black could not vote for McCain because of Condi.

Given that the repuke party is the home of the white supremacists etc--this would have a much greater impact on the repukes percentage wise than on the dems!

They know it. They will never do it!

My bad again. Of course, he would never acknowledge that he didn't like the black person.

that's cause all the racist hillary supporters are bold faced liars, like their candidates, and they will blow smoke up every one here's ass then get in the voting booth and vote for David Duke before they vote for Obama!

Then they will return here and bore us with stories about how their friends did it!

Status quo---ends justify the means people have no issues with lying! that is soooooo Clinton of them!

Maybe that's because they like what Obama is about and what he has to say, unlike Obama and Edward supporters who are disenfranchized with the Billary tactics. A third party may get those votes.
