In a sense by staying in the race he has been supporting her, depending on how you look at it.

That being said, John is a very standup guy who truly believes what he says and doesn't cave to anyone. I think he would have made a real difference as president and think it's a little sad that he wasn't able to see it through. He's shown a lot of class in this race and didn't feed into all the attacks. IMO he has every right to throw his support to which ever candidate he thinks is best, even if it's Hillary I would not fault him for it. He's earned it.

That's true Eric. He really has. I think it's anyone's guess at this point. RK77 made a great point on that other thread that by "suspending" his campaign now and getting promises from both of them to pick up the torch on his main issues, he almost gets more bang for his buck, because they'll both be auditioning for his supporters up till Super Tuesday. If that's the strategy, it's a pretty good one. He wasn't getting any press, but they will, and the press with be giddy speculating about it every time one of them brings up him or poverty.

I think many of the comments he has made in the past regarding clinton & her record would seem to make if unlikely he could give her the nod..... He has not taken sides yet.......... He is a smart poker player.......

He'll throw his support to Hillary if he doesn't want to end up like Vince Foster. The Hildabeast is a vindictive one.

Why would he commit suicide?
