And why stop at politicians, why not just say men? Hell why not just say people. Look at the divorce rate, how many of those cases do you think involve adultery? And how many of the people that don’t get divorced have committed adultery? You hear about the famous politicians and high profile people but the act is common place.

And don’t forget Arnold “The Gropenator” Schwarzenegger, another “modern” Republican. Oh right... Ronald Reagan, forgot about the formal hollywood liberal turned Republican.

In my state last week, our first term Republican Governor shocked everyone by announcing that he will not run for re-election -- this
after a very expensive strategy meeting at a pricey resort in the state. This Governor, a happily married man with a young child,
is the son of a long-time U.S. Congressman who is a Tom DeLay buddy.

Nothing official yet, but the word on the streets is that our family values Governor has a boyfriend.

Democrats would like to get a 'freak' amendment to the Constitution to normalize their womanizing behavior. And what about the down low of Jim McGreevy? For every Larry Craig there is a two-fer McGreevy swinging both ways and threatening to give his clueless wife AIDS. But I digress.

Why do these wives defend these guys. The wives of Democrats have also raised this to a high art form. Hillary Clinton is the Grand High Nagus of Wife Humiliation Anonymous.

I make no excuses for McGreevy or any such politicians.

Maybe they take those religious vows (until death do we part) more seriously than Republican wives.
