Young Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has apologized to the city for having an affair with his chief of staff. Mayor Kilpatrick's wife (the good political wife always sits by her man, even McGreevey's, during these times) was with him at a press conference when he apologized. She expressed her anger but said the situation was a private matter between her husband, herself and God (and the other woman of course-who is also married).

But it does not stop there. Previously the mayor AND the chief of staff testified under oath, over some other city business, that they were NOT involved in an affair. Remind you of anybody? The mayor his pledged to remain in office. Stay tuned.

This once again shows that a requirement by Democrats to hold high office is to be a womanizer.

True you can't really accuse Larry Craig of being a womanizer. And David Vitter, well if you have to pay for it then you aren't really a womanizer either I guess. Or just a pathetic womanizer.

Gee John McCain admitted infidelity in his first marriage. Rudy Giuliani, well now there is a great family man, married a woman who was a member of his family, divorced her, married another and then cheated on her.

Yeah Republicans are the party of family values. Where are Newt Gingrich and Henry Hyde to clean up the mess? Oh wait both of them had affairs as well, no sense digging Hyde back up.

When you specifically mention a certain group of people as being guilty of something there is an implied meaning that other groups which can be differentiated from that group are less guilty.

You could have said politicians instead of Democrats but you didn't.
