Bill Clinton - Shifting Attacks to Kennedy
After pushing for Kennedy's endorsement and not getting it, he's now attacking him.

Bill Clinton mentioned Ted Kennedy last night in Phoenix, Ariz., in reference to the "train wreck" of No Child Left Behind, as reported by NBC/NJ last night.

Today, at a rally in Clinton home state of Arkansas, he just repeated the same sentiment, perhaps a bit more strongly. He said that the education bill came about because "the president made a deal with Senator Kennedy."

Of course, it wouldn't be Bill without a spoonful of sugar. He added, "Neither one of them meant to mess it up."
Then a long riff on why it failed.

*** UPDATE *** It is worth noting that Hillary Clinton voted for No Child Left Behind.

The interesting thing isn't just that Hillary voted for it but that during his eight years Bill Clinton had no effective policy on public education at all. he really should tread lightly... but won't obviously. He'll be in the doghouse for a long time after Hilary loses the primary.

Are you sure??? I thought Hillary claimed that while she was first lady she fought for some legislation for education.

Bill needs to just hang out upstairs on the 3rd floor of his library for awhile. Hillary's doing just fine, and Bill's just going to get his quotes hair split by the media. He ain't gonna get her any votes anyway.

Obama isn't going anywhere with or without anybody's endorsement.

Just one more week and Hillary can plan her next step.

See, you D.I.N.O.'s need to read the above and conclude the exact opposite. Republicans are, as they said on Real Time, scared shitless of Obama. They know they can beat Hillary with ease, but a REAL Democrat who is also a decent human being- so much so that it makes his presidency all the better? That's got them completely befuddled.
