This is how Americans handle problems. The storm is brewing now, shit will happen again and again we will say "why did it happen", get mad and then want to go kill someone in retaliation of course it will not matter if it is the one responsible or not because we are Americans....

We should stop creating government structure based on religion and start basing it on the Universe. Since 'God' created the Universe, why would religious people care if we use God's structure to better our own? Besides, there is a possibility religion is nothing more than man-made bullshit. We can be certain though, the Universe is not man-made bullshit.

Religion is man made bullshit, there could be something that one could claim as being God. These Christians are gambling that there is no God. If there was the Biblical God then by these peoples actions they are betraying the teachings of God's son. The Biblical God destroyed civilizations for such hubris.

If they followed Christ's teachings and adhered to the Constitution this world would not be such a bad place.

As we go and kill each other we are building karma - pollution of our environment, consumption of assets, predatory social practices and the world will turn. Humans will not be prepared and then claim "act of God" when all it was would be "act of stupidity" and "hubris".

yesterday i saw the white house press secretary say that although america uses waterboarding, it should not be a green light for others to employ this torture on american soldiers (torture is my word, not his)
