I seem to remember the punchline, but can't remember the context.





Just as Spike Lee was being referenced during Imus' infamous show, Maher was dredging up that decades old phrase I remember the black dudes laying on all the white girls in my high school.


Perhaps the fact that some white folk can now laugh about the same phrase that used to make white men's blood boil, is a sign of changing attitudes.

That's what I was thinking too. But---for those who are not only remembering all the black guys laying the line "on" but merely laying.....there may still be issues.

Interestingly same thing is happening with an more internal ditty:
