State Polls

Who has a bookmark for a site that list the "current" state polls?

Is this the best site?

That's not a bad site but quite a few of the polls seem out of date at times.

I like Real Clear Politics for their stream of current polls.

Yeah, I have been looking at several sites. I'm playing (wasting time) with Excel and and trying to find out what the polls say versus state delegates, versus the current delegate count.

I input all the states and input some formulas and came out with the following.

Final Delegates

Obama: 1598.83
Clinton: 1576.77

These do not count the super delegates.

If I could not find any polling on a state then I split the delegates.

If Obama could make up some ground in Ohio and Pennsylvania I'd feel better.

It looks like it could be very tight.

He was far behind in both those states but the only polls I could find were from January before Edwards had dropped out. I posted the Texas polls in another thread. Clinton had gone from a 51-17 lead in December to a 46-28 in mid January to a 48-38 lead at the end of January. So Obama had made up a lot of ground.
