Hope and Change are mere words until the mass people believe in it enough to do something, like get involved in record numbers to help change happen. Is that stupid to you? (now I sound like JD yikes) I don't mean to ask rhetorical questions, but I don't see him doing anything but deliver his message that he has been saying from the beginning. He is inspiring people to care about the political process and care enough to get involved. I would think everyone would champion that concept. |

lol...that wasn't necessarily posted to back up the scary part...I found it interesting..
But it is obvious you didn't read it A race-tinged brawl at the convention, some nine weeks before Election Day, will not be a Hallmark moment. As Mr. Wilkins reiterated to me last week, it will be a flashback to the Democratic civil war of 1968, a suicide for the party no matter which victor ends up holding the rancid spoils |

I don't think she had a choice. When the campaign fails to deliver the delegates to keep her well in the lead, the manager is the first to fall. Remember, it's not her personality or what she has become, it's the campaign that's run aground.

Passionate, anti-war Democrats were for Bobbie Kennedy, who had been assassinated in June (before the August convention), or Eugene McCarthy. The good old boys, the party bosses, shoved a milquetoast compromise down the throats of liberal wing of the Democratic party -- and Hubert H. Humphrey's candidacy enabled Richard Milhous Nixon to win by a landslide. And from all I have read and can recall, Humphrey was actually a pretty decent person, unlike Mrs. Clinton.
