i'm not taking a pass on criticizing the clinton campaign, if you notice. i criticize her mistakes and talk openly about her negatives. but i TRY not to get personal and YOU need to back off on this type of attack.
I speak for myself here. My problem with Obama supporters is that they can't tell me what his message is. "Change" "Fix the broken system". Sans any details these are meaningless words.

Sounds like Ross Perot's "raise the hood and take a look."

I've been around a few blocks. I've heard a number of brilliant public speakers who absolutely mesmerize the crowd. Many are just selling shit that doesn't work well.

I like Obama. I'll vote for Obama. It just scares me that so many are so enthralled with a man who say so little.

I'm angry that he's been getting a pass from the press, and he HAS gotten a pass from them.

His awkward drivers license answer should have gotten as much air play has hers did, no?

IN part this angers me, because the pass will end in the general election. The honeymoon will be over.

Meanwhile, uniting the country as he describes it not only has the lion laying with the lamb, but all the forest of natural enemies sleeping peacefully together.

The thread got deleted because you are a fool. Fact is, you have no idea what color I am, and being the liberal spincter-licker that you are, need to pin labels on others who disagree with you. Here's a peice of advice for you - go BACK into Mommy's basement where little bitches like you belong.

What can you not understand about "I voted for Bill Clinton twice.
I am disappointed in his recent behavior."

And I think if Bill and Hillary had not both played the race card so shamelessly, we might still be in a 3-way race with Hillary, Obama and
Edwards. I and many liberals I know were wavering between Edwards and Obama, which can hardly be characerized as hysterical Obamamania.

I could say that it seems to disappoint you that John F. Kennedy, Jr.,
ever drew breath.

It is entirely possible that Joseph Kennedy paid off the mob so that
JFK could win Chicago and the 1960 election. It is entirely possible
that had he lived, JFK would not have had LBJ's expertise in getting the civil rights legislation through Congress. Yet he inspired a generation of Americans. You seem to have forgotten the Peace Corps.

I think he should stand up to them if they try that crap. I think the popular vote should be the determining factor if it comes to that, and it may.

But by the time we get to that hellish scenario, Democrats will be even more embittered against each other, shooting themselves in the foot, once again. That kind of horror show may influence people to vote for McCain.

There are TWO things Bill Clinton has said that I dislike. One is just petty and silly - the kindergarden thing (which I'm not even sure Bill said in the first place) and the other is the Jesse Jackson comment, which was way over the line. However, the rest is pure bullshit. Obama was criticizing Hillary long before she started fighting back, when she started to drop in the polls. They mutually criticize each other. And I'm not to happy with some of the snide remarks made by Michelle Obama, such as:

"Is he somebody that respects family? Is he a good and decent person?" Michelle Obama asked the crowd about the next president. "Our view is that if you can't run your own house, you certainly can't run the White House."

I admire Hillary for staying in her marriage and working things out. AND I don't think other people's marriage issues are ANY OF OUR BUSINESS. I don't see anyone here trashing Jackie Kennedy for staying in her marriage. Obama's made a lot of below the belt shots too, the Harry and Louise style ads for one. It's politics, and they're going to play rough, and they're both doing it.
