Don't worry! No scandals! Really! None! Nothing to see here!

Yesterday Hillary Clinton said, ""You know, I can assure this reader that that is not going to happen," she said. "You know, none of us can predict the future, no matter who we are and what we are running for, but I am very confident that that will not happen."

No scandals, huh?

Well that's just great, coming from The Enabler that is Hillary Clinton.

I'm sure Bill had promised her "no scandals" when during their courtship he was sneaking women out the back door while she was coming in the front.

I'm sure he had promised her "no scandals" when he used Arkansas state deputies as his own personal escort system.

I'm sure Bill had promised "no scandals" when his torrid sex affair with Gennifer Flowers was outted.

I'm sure Bill Clinton had promised "no scandals" when Paula Jones showed up on the scene.

I'm sure Hillary felt confident that there would be "no scandals" when she pronounced to the world, "I'm not like Tammy Wynette, 'Stand By Your Man'" (even though she DID stand by her man, over and over again).

I'm sure Bill had promised "no scandals" when Monica Lewinsky broke, and phrases like "semen on her blue dress" filled up airwaves to the point that children had to be kept away from TV and radio during the day, every day, for two years.

Or when he wagged his finger at America and said, "I want you to listen and listen good".

I'm sure Hillary Clinton The Enabler was confident there would be "no scandals" when she blamed her serial adulterer husband's infidelity on a "vast right wing conspiracy".

I'm sure Bill Clinton promised his wife The Enabler "no scandals" when he lied under oath, obstructed justice, commited high crimes and misdemeanors and was impeached.

From The.LIFE files, 02/01/08:

Richard Belzer says Rupert Murdoch Has A Douzie For BUBBA
Friday, February 1st, 2008, 1:23 pm

During an appearance on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher stand-up comedian Richard Belzer said media titan, $7-billion dollar, and man behind The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, Direct TV, FOX, Harper-Collins and MySpace Rupert Murdoch is putting together a very special package for Bill and Hillary Clinton if she succeeds as the Democratic candidate for President. Belzer says that ‘his insiders’ have told him that Rupert Murdoch will UNLEASH a report including names and interviews of everyone Bill Clinton has had RELATIONS with over the past couple years….

Disclaimer: I personally don't care about Bill Clinton's sex life, but
the Religious Right and the NeoCon Hillary Haters do, and I do not want to read about it for the next four years.

And all of these affairs cost the US taxpayer exactly how much?

Not counting the millions wasted (by Repubs) during the impeachment process.

Compare that to the scandals of the last 7 years.

I love Bill and could care less how many affairs he had or that she turns a blind eye, but I don't want it to be the news we hear for the next 4 yrs.

I have a hard time believing Bill has behaved himself for the last 7 yrs.
How you behaved in the past is a direct reflection on how you will behave in the future.

Obviously scandal can be politically profitable. Any publicity is good publicity... and can be even better depending on the timing, frequency, and forgive-and-forget level.

I don't care about his sex life either. Please. It's fucking gross. But, you see that spoof presidential painting above? There's great realism in that picture.

No, I don't care about Bill Clinton's sex life.

But I do care that, while there were homeless people shivering on the streets at night with nothing to eat and nowhere to go, this serial adulterer hick from Arkansas had his pants down in the Oval Office and was having sex on collective America's time and dime.

While people were being turned away from emergency rooms because they didn't have proper insurance, this guy has his pants down in our White House.

My grandfather, a lieutenant colonel in the famed 4th Division of the U.S. Army didn't land on Utah Beach on D-Day so this guy could run around the Oval Office with his pants down and play sexcapades all day in our White House.

A fine executive he was but, Bill Clinton is a national disgrace.

This I wholeheartedly agree. I don't care two shits about what he did to who, or, who did what to him.
Bill, in my opinion, too, was, and, still is a disgrace, and I wish he'd just shut up, and go away.
