If you were advising Hillary.

I'm off to get ready for bed, but I thought I'd leave this before doing so.

If you were advising Hillary on how to win in Texas, Ohio, and maybe Wisconson, as well as Pa, what advise would you give her?

"Just quit. You can't spin the fact that you only won Super Teusday states because of early voting. That's gone now. The voters are so angry with anyone claiming experience- even just the seven years of real experience you have, much less with the thirty five years you dreamed up, that there's just no way they won't take change regardless. You set up a hell of a political machine and orgnaization. It's time to do right by the country and the party by just throwing your support behind Obama. The voters are already there."

"And don't try to squeeze a VP spot out of him as a precondition. It won't play well with the public."

Her campaign needs some "uumph".
She can't out speechify Obama - but she should be putting out position papers, and specific policy statements.

I would release 2 or 3 a week.
She's a wonk - and she can only win on Wonkdom.

But I wouldn't panic -and she shows no signs personally of doing so.
Stay in Texas' eat Bar-B-que, and entertain the voters ( Texans especially like entertaining polititcians)

I don't know much about Ohio politics - but get local there too.

That won't happen, because much of her policy ideas have been against consumers and workers alike in favor of corporations. Also, her foreign policy stances have cost her a huge range of voters.

i would advise her to drop out, to stop dividing the electorate, to stop the charade of trying to be something she's glaringly not, to not draw this out any longer because her ego may be damaged, to put her support behind obama by compelling the old farts that there is no need for closet racism anymore and let's get the republicans the hell out of the white house already....

thanks for asking

An interesting thought that got mentioned today. Huckabee's continued running against McCain is likely an act of spite for McCain possibyl turning him down for VP. So, in effect Huckabee- and his extremist religious backers, are waging scorched earth on their own party because their unconditional demands were rejected.

Rascism isn't and old fart thing exclusively. It comes in all shapes and sizes.

Drop out?? No way. she has her states coming up.
if she loses those -then she should drop out.

here was hillary's speech in a nutshell:

(this is a direct quote...)

"I'm tested, I'm ready, let's make it happen," she yelled to cheering supporters.

She slipped into a "you all" and criticized Bush, the former Texas governor.

"There's a great saying in Texas," she said, "all hat and no cattle. Well after seven years of George Bush, we need a lot less hat and lot more cattle."

what washington needs is more cattle?
what's that, a code for lobbiests? ha!
or is she just trying to be the candidate you'd want to go out for a beer with?

what a bitchy thing to say.
she's been fighting neocons too long.

how do you tell someone to get out of that mindset?
i don't know if you can!

blackmail more super delegates.
i guess that would be my advice to her.
