Hillary wrong again.

Quote:
"It's not the questions. It's the answers. And the answers get right to the heart of who is ready on Day One to be the president and commander-in-chief of the United States."
She needs to read and understand the Constitution.

U.S. Constitution: Article II Section 2.

Quote:
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States
There is no such thing as "commander-in-chief of the United States".

You may say its semantics, but as prior military I find it to be a very elementary mistake that reveals she consistently either does not understand things or has a very poor choice of words.

I'm sure she has a bit of an inferiority complex, from being a woman. Not as deep-rooted though as Republicans.

She probably takes her inspiration from "former" General and possibly undemocratically "elected" President Musharraf.

you are really looking for a problem that isn't there.

It's understood that Commander-in-Chief of the United states refers to the US armed forces.
It's a common shorthand way of saying the same.

Oh I think it is there and quite obvious. Far too often people think this is one and the same but it is not.

The Constitution does designate the President as "Commander in Chief." Article II, Section 2, Clause 1.

Not, however, as "Commander in Chief" of the country as a whole, with the plenary powers of some "Fuhrer", but only as
Quote:
"Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States."

This was not a "poor choice of words". Closer to a Freudian Slip. She not only wants to be Commander-In-Cheif of the United States , but would prefer Dictator of the United States. It is her goal. Not much different from GWB.

Ah yes. I forgot she was a megalomaniac.

Thanks for reminding me.

This is exactly the kind of stupid, irrelevant attacks that I began defending her against.

They can't attack her on actual substance, so any attack on her is fair game.

Meanwhile, any attack on Obama's actual record is "racist."

Going to be an interesting general election if he gets the nomination, as race will play diffferently in the general than in the dem primaries.

Pesonally, I can't wait for him to get in the white house so my grandkids will find their homework more interesting than the Wii game.
