I have been called stupid, nonsensical and worse more times on Political Groove, on which I have been active for roughly four months, more times than I have been thusly insulted in my entire life.

It is possible, of course, that an inordinate number of exceptionally bright people have gathered here, but I wouldn't bet the November election on it.

In May of last year, in either Time or Newsweek magazine...right there in black and white, for all the world to see...are the statistics that, in comparable positions, with comparable education/training/experience, women are paid less than men in every state of our oh-so-divided nation.

I have already posted the GARISH statistics on the disproportionate rate at which we imprison black men.

A-ha! cry the Democrats. We will fight amongst ourselves...rather than with the common enemy by whom we are intimidated...as to whether a white woman or a black man is the best shot at wresting control of the White House away from Malevolent Influence and Alarming Authority.
