Political Groove Should Accept Paid Ads From Candidates & Parties

Considering that Barack raised $55 million in February and Hillary raised $35 million, I bet they each could write Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd a $50,000 check (or more) and not blink. Now they are talking about having them finance the Florida and Michigan do-overs. Clearly any 5 or 6 figure competitive support to Political Groove would be lunch money.

And considering the competition and commitment of the two sides here, this site could be finanacially secure for the rest of this year and next. A nice little fee for Eric and team who put massive amounts of time into this effort with, I bet, very little compensation. And pay the Mods (more) too.

Then in the general election I would be happy to recruit more Republicans and conservatives so then the McCain campaign and the GOP can write checks too. Hell Eric will be riding around in a 75 El Dog with a big brim hat and whitewall donut tires.

The commie socialist liberals here hate to talk about money. Well Barack and Hillary sure don't have any trouble talking about and chasing the money. Neither does the GOP. They all do the hard press.

Well, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd is the company who owns vBulletin. I already paid for this board from them, why should we give them any more money?

Oops. My bad (as the kids say these days - - or is that still hip to say?)

I saw it after the copyright and thought it was your company. What is your company for this board Eric?

And should checks be made out to you or your company?

I guess any candidate or party who would want to give could just contact you directly. But do you need consensus from members here to place ads? Just asking.

No real company, just the site name politicalgroove.com. To be honest I doubt any candidate would want to advertise on such a small site, we don't even have 300 registered members.

You underestimate yourself and the board. One candidate or party might see it as another platform to get their message out via the rabid supporters here. And they could do their promotional thing and next thing you know PG is advertise on some national services. Next thing you know a candidate generates buzz for something that he or she arranges to 'break' on Political Groove and then Drudge, Malkin, et al pick it up and 300 turns into 3000 overnight. Then circular promotion takes off and next thing you know you're in the BIG TIME. Just saying.

This is the political silly season and I (and everybody else) have never seen it this silly. And with this much money to through around. Lightning could strike here very easily. And I believe the current political analyses here are second to none. Every fucking tidbit is examined in any give 24 hours cycle here.

So please go out and incorporate the site. Good on the liability front to to have a corporation between you and the board.

Oh and put a PayPal button up top in the left hand corner right under PoliticalGroove in the white space. Open up a checking account tied directly to the site or register it right back to your personal account. A corporate account would be better but your personal would work in the interim. I would incorporate PoliticalGroove.com as the corporation. You can probably do that online now in Washington State.

The only candidate who has rabid supporters here is Barack Hussein Obama, who doesn't have a platform. He just has rhetoric.

Well even more reason for O to drop a dime ($10K). A tip for him.

The selfish people here simply take Eric for granted. Hey Eric just put the PayPal button up there and lets send the link to O, H, RNC and DNC and the DLC, 527s, PACs and corporations (oh my).
