yes and if eric hadn't seen the ad or if others hadn't have had their corneas burned with the vision of it and made a comment, she would still be floating around here every so often...the point is, you don't know what kind of ad is going to be generated until the system picks up on the key words...it is highly probable that posting a blog with "telecom" and "at&t" caused the ad to generate all by itself...besides, how do you know he even knew it was there? and if he did see it, how do you know it wasn't blocked upon discovery? did you monitor the site 24 hours when that blog was posted?

But Eric is pretty new at this, and DailyKos is huge. It/he has experience, as they like to claim on the campaign trail.

Let me run this by you, and tell me if it is really too far-fetched and idealistic.

If you were hosting a party, a gathering of friends, would you simply throw open the doors and windows in a manner that was recognized to constitute not precisely an invitation but an OPEN sign sans restrictions, then ask people to leave, one by one as they arrived, if they turned out not to be friends...say, people who don't like you but wanna see the inside of your house, leave some business cards, maybe pick up a client or two?

Or knowing that you won't have just any old body hanging out in your space...guilt by association/tell me who your friends are...do you control entry from the get-go?

I peg you for the latter.

You know how, theoretically, we are innocent until proven guilty regardless of wealth? A presumption in favor of the accused. A tremendous obstacle to clear, a reasonable doubt.

Candidates ought not to associate or take money from notorious people, period. Notorious...their reputations precede them. Who fails to notice when a notorious person materializes in their affairs?

If the candidates do not mind their OWN affairs conscientiously, how does it stand to Reason that they will conscientiously mind ours?
