Ronald Reagan
And what does that say about his mind?

Back in the Saturday game-day days, when my son was still playing Little League baseball and Ronald Reagan had already gone out to pasture, two secret service agents escorted him around the walking track that skirts Roxbury Park in Beverly Hills.

All the players on the field drifted over to the first baseline fence and chirped in unison, in that sing-songy voice that is strangely irritating and reassuring at the same time..."Hel-o-o, Mis-ter Pres-i-dent."

Former President Ronald Reagan was CLUELESS as to why those children were calling out to him...affable enough as he waved back, but CLUELESS.

When did his mind start to go, for him to be so far gone?

We have some serious oldsters in our Government.

Again and again have I heard alarming statistics not only about diabetes, but about Alzheimers.

Laws of probability. What are the chances that dementia affects X percent of the senior population, but no one in government? Slim to none, that's what those odds are.

This has nothing to do with this thread, but I can spin it to be pertinent.

The perfect candidate will not have dementia.

That makes John McCain at least suspect.

I believe that we should have a mandatory retirement age from government office. I don't know what that age is but, in the same way that people can't be commercial pilots after a certain age, I'm pretty sure they shouldn't be piloting countries either.

Or dementia testing after a certain age IN office.

And pharmaceutical records on the table, while we're at it.
