The Compassion Forum Tonight
Did anyone else watch this Forum on CNN. I only saw Obama. The last question was that some were bothered they were having a faith forum with separation of church and state. He answered well and included atheist in his answer.
I saw some clips of her trying to stick it to him on the bitter comments. On Huffpo they are saying she dissed Kerry and Gore. Clinton: Gore And Kerry Lost Because They Were Viewed As Elitist - Politics on The Huffington Post Obama went on to say that he thought Gore won the race. |

He nailed it. He was articulate, well spoken and spoke what he actually believes even to those that may not have wanted to hear it.
Hillary, pandered as usual and all the while threw both Al Gore and the democratic party under the bus at the same time. I'm sure the SD's are really going to appreciate that. |

he is always articurlate; unless he is not being so, don't you agree? Kerry was painted as a rich elitist windsurfer, despite the fact he was the poorest Senator before he married Heinz. Gore? Elitist? well there was that talk about him growing up in hotel rooms in D.C. It ain't me, It ain't me, I ain't no Senator's Son (Creadence Clearwater )

![]() As for the elitists, it's sort of hard to relate with working class people when you have 109 million bucks. Obama's net worth is nothing in comparison. |

what money he doesn't have as President will swamp the Clinton's 100 million by the time Obama is in his early 60's. Relating to working class folks has little to do with net worth. It's about how hard you go to bat for them in conflicts, and fight for the average guy's interests. Speeches and ideas are not as important as practicle political skills. If Obama wins the nomination he will have Clinton to thank for getting him battle tested for the General.

Clear and decisive speeches combined with good judgment far out weigh lies and accusations. I don't care how much experience one has, when they can't tell the truth or manage a simple campaign there is no way they can handle the country. |

Obama is giving it back, though more so with his surrogates as good as he gets. BOTH candidates are stronger for it. The camapign is awful,i agree -but more so because of a failure of the managers to do there job. Even the best managers are dependant on middle management. Looking back, she needed to assert her views more into the campaign, rather than rely on them coming up with platforms for her to use. It was a disconnect 0n both partys parts
