who is mayhill fowler?
was mayhill fowler REALLY an obama supporter? or was she gunning for him, a wolf surreptitiously stalking him in sheep's clothing? perhaps for the clinton campaign?
evidence is beginning to mount that she was, in fact, working for the clinton campaign. from the san fransico chronicle blog: Undercover blogger taped Obama's blunt remarks An Obama campaign insider tells us the blogger, Mayhill Fowler, had tried to get into one of two Obama fundraising events in the Bay Area a couple of months back where former New Jersey Sen. Bill Bradley stood in as a proxy. She was turned away, even though she had offered to pay, says our source. "There's a very basic (fundraiser) rule - you don't let press in, and anyone with an interest in reporting shouldn't get in," said the source. Just how the MP3-wielding Fowler managed to secure an invite to the $1,000 a head fundraiser at the San Francisco home of developer Alex Mehran wasn't immediately clear - but Obama campaign higher-ups were said to be livid, with fingers pointing at a local fundraising consultant for the slip-up. CLINTON GIVING OUT BUMPER STICKERS: fowler's blog went up on 4/11. first thing the next morning, 4/12, the clinton campaign was already giving out hundreds of bumper stickers that said "i'm not bitter". From NBC/NJ's Carrie Dann Is 'bitter' sticking in North Carolina? - First Read - msnbc.com GOLDSBORO, NC -- As is evident from political journalists' email boxes today, the Clinton campaign appears to believe it's found a silver bullet -- served with a side of brie and chardonnay -- in Obama's recent controversial comments. On the same day that Obama's opponents keep their eyes peeled for outrage from small-town America, Bill Clinton is doing a marathon six-stop campaign day in rural eastern North Carolina, a swing billed by one supporter as a "Barbeque Tour." But the issue doesn't seem to be sticking. Clinton himself has been silent on the issue. But at the first two events of the day, the campaign has sent one of Carolina's hometown boys out to push the issue before Clinton takes the stage. Tom Hendrickson, a Clinton supporter and former Democratic Party chairman, included a reading of Obama's comments in his introduction of Clinton. "Senator Obama, don't pity us and think that we're bitter and frustrated," he said in Winterville this morning. "We are hard-working family folks who are smart, and we get it. We don't need pundits to tell us what to think." Hendrickson repeated the sentiment at a later stop in Winston, but dropped the direct mention of Obama as the source of the quote. In both instances, Hendrickson's speech evidenced little reaction from the crowd, which had been waiting for the main event for over an hour, and appeared to have little tolerance for a parade of surrogates. By the third stop of the day in Goldsboro, Hendrickson did not even take the stage. In Goldsboro, close observers noticed a (light) smattering of stickers being worn by attendees. "I'm not bitter!" read the simple rectangular label on the lapels of a couple dozen in the crowd. The campaign says that the stickers are evidence of outrage at the grassroots level. Yet it's unclear how spontaneous the sentiment was. A boxful of the stickers was spotted at Clinton's first event of the day -- being whisked backstage. FURTHER EVIDENCE: many prominent sites, like TPM, the new republic, etc, were talking last week about a major bombshell that was going to drop on obama - which suggests this hit job was in the works, and also explains how both mc cain and hillary were so organized and prepared to attack when it came out. bumper sticker, anyone?

I must be missing something here. So far as I know Huffington Post is the only place Mayhill Fowler has ever been "published", except maybe in her "blog on the Middle East." Anyone who has read her OffTheBus pieces at HuffPo is well aware that she is a Clinton supporter.
Here is her self-written Bio at HuffPo: What can I tell you? I'm an over-educated sixty year-old woman with politics in my blood. Shall I write about my family's political fortunes from time to time, if relevant to 2008? I'm thinking about it. Born and bred in Tennessee. Many of my family GTT ("Gone to Texas," a Tennessee tradition). Houston--or Hoo-town, as I fondly call it. Lived all my adult life in California. Oakland. B.A. Vassar '68. M.A. U.C. Berkeley '72. Worked a bit as a teacher, editor, and writer, but mostly raised my two daughters. Husband a lawyer. Have spent the last few years researching and writing small books on my family history so that our younger generation, scattered from coast to coast, of course, will know "from whence they come." Got that? A stay at home grandma (I guess) who researches and writes about family genealogy? If you want to get really angry, read this recent OffTheBus blog which appeared in HuffPo early last week (to much protest), before her nasty little piece about "bitter" which appeared Friday afternoon. To any Dems out there who don't think the GOP won't use all the mud about the Clintons should Hillary win the nomination I simply and humbly ask this, "What, are you fucking crazy?" The number she's doing on Obama now will look like a Tom and Jerry cartoon compared to the blood bath that awaits a potential battle between McSame and Dollar Bill Hill. And since I haven't stated so yet, if Hillary is the Dem nominee, I will not vote in the election period. It would be the first time I haven't voted in a Presidential election, but I'd no more cast a vote for that bitch or that old coot than I would spend one dollar on those shitty conservative books they have advertised just below.

Actually as usual the GOP is being very methodical and mature and quietly organizing for the war in the Fall. The Dems are acting like young inner city black teens dealing crack.

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame the GOP, in fact I have no doubt they are sitting around laughing their asses off at this circus. I know I would be if I were in their position. |

The GOP can quietly prepare, as you say their 'maniacal behavior attack plan' even utilizing the grand master Karl Rove. I bet they are just waiting for this masacre. I will probably have as much access to McCain as I would to Obama so let it be. |
