McCain not willing to throwing Obama under the bus

The question from one of the students was, following Obama's speech, did McCain consider himself a "typical white person". McCain responded to the question by commending Obama on the speech and that it was an important and necessary thing to say at the time and how well he addressed it. Then he went on to say that even though he may appear to be ducking the question that he doesn't want to run a dirty campaign. He had nothing bad to say about Obama.

Hillary supporters, your candidate can learn a great deal from McCain. He showed a lot of tact and class and the audience gave him a very warm response for it.

Eh I am not really fooled, McCain is just smarter than Hillary. Which is why we need to watch him closer. He learned from her mistakes, and knows to not answer race questions.

Yep. He won't go negative now. he doesn't have too.
But come the General,
and you will see the "typical" Republican smear machine chop up Obama with his own words.

I didn't watch the whole show, but I caught that and was very
impressed. He was also pretty classy about Jeremiah Wright.
(Of course She has lowered the bar so low, my judgment is completely
off.)

I sense that his aides are trying to get him to jump on Hillary's
Bittergate bandwagon, and he just doesn't understand it. Again tonight, he showed no comprehension of why people might be
bitter.
