Now that we have examined some subtext, let us get back to Rev Wright.

He is placing himself above the precedent that is Barack Obama. He should have gone down to the islands until after the election. But maybe now is the time to leverage the spotlight to examine America's racial underbelly. My take is that American's are satisfied with the current natural order and it is fine with me. Whites on one side of town and blacks on the other (for the most part). And those who want to mix can mix.

as long as they can mix fully, and have all the advantages of living in America on an equal basis, i'm fine with that.

No-one should force racial interaction or stymie it either.

True freedom to assemble

Agreed. I think things are pretty comfortable right now. The natural order, as it were.

As long as I can enter any public accomodation, buy what I want with my money and assemble freely with those who want to assemble with me, well that is the American dream.

Fortunately, I am among the good looking people and prefer their company. The ugly are jealous and want to enter our club but they simply should stay among their own.

You don't need reparations for that. Just follow the yellow brick road.

Republicans freed the slaves but forget to pay the bill. Rev Wright would agree that the bill should be paid. So would the GOP. Aint no such thing as a free lunch. I want my $3,000,000.

You should have bought stock in pharmaceuticals.

Or you just should have bought some pharmaceuticals.

No. I should be paid for the free work of my ancestors. Now with Rev Wright, there is a new sheriff in town and I am sure he will get around to reparations to push Obama on the issue. You don't even know Obama's position on the issue. You just want to talk shit.
