I have been out of touch other than what I've heard on the normal news on the radio but I can see absolutely no good for Obama coming from Wright being on the circuit or whatever it is he's doing.

Eventually I will get caught up with the details but from an outside perspective this could very well kill Obama's chances. Personally, I think Wright is a decent guy but the damage is done and the more he is out there stumping, it's obvious the more he's damaging Obama. For the first time I am concerned that he may not be able to pull this out.

you need to catch up..I have so been called because i will no listen to any more of Wright, but condem his comments.
to sum it up for you; I have no desire to delve into the man's psyche, or his subtleties.
The top layer of his comments are enough for me.
But because i don't wallow in his egotistical spotlight, i can't have a valid opinion

If Rev. Wright is hurting Obama, the country is filled with morons. All Wright did was point out some of the bad sides of America. Only someone with an IQ of under 23, attempting to live a delusional life in ignorant bliss, would act like America is 100% good in every way.

Maybe once people remove their heads from their asses, we can truly begin fixing the problems in this country. It definitely does not help when politicians encourage stupidity, for no other reason than personal political gain.

You may be right. But what is it exactly that is causing the damage?

After all he is doing exactly what should be done. He is speaking out to defend himself, his church and his friend. What is the real problem? Is it that he stirs up more racial division with statements that only make many people more uncomfortable?

I think it may just be that instead of continuing with interviews in a very natural tone, he is back to making hell fire speeches. If he thought White Americans simply did not relate to that and some of his strong wording (regardless of how right or wrong he may have been) then this would be a mistake of some measure. Only those that related with it before will relate with it now.

I am more concerned about the Reverend Wright than I am about Obama's chances at the presidency. He seems to be stubborn and throwing it all back in the faces of his critics. i can respect that, but......it is making matters worse for him.
