Obama Posts Delegate Countdown on Website
This is awesome!!!
Obama campaign posts delegate countdown on website Obama's new delegate countdown The Obama campaign just posted a new delegate tracker on BarackObama.com and it will count down the delegates until he secures the nomination. It's something you won't see on HillaryClinton.com, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. According to the tracker, Obama needs just 288 more delegates to secure the nomination. That works out to 40% of the uncommitted delegates. Also, given that he's a lock to get at least 200 more pledged delegates, it means he really only needs 88 of the undeclared superdelegates -- just under 30%. Bottom-line is that barring a catastrophic collapse, Barack Obama's delegate math is just unbeatable. Of course, the media doesn't want to tell you that story -- if people stopped paying attention to the primary campaign, their ratings would suffer. As for me, all I know is that I barely watch news on television any more -- I just DVR the evening broadcasts and sometimes check them out. (And until the mainstream news blogs start covering the general, I won't be spending much time on them either.) I still do watch is Countdown, though. It's funny how Hillary started the primary trying to portray her nomination as inevitable. The Cult of Obama hated that. But now they are the ones trying to portray Obama as inevitable.
Rank hypocrisy is nothing new for Democrats though. |

actually, hillary, her camp and her supporters started way before the primary trying to portray her as entitled to the nomination, thereby making it inevitable...the people of this country have other ideas and subscribing to george bush's or hillary's "new math" doesn't change the fact that 2 + 2 still equals 4, that obama still has more delegates than hillary and that the odds of her overcoming his lead are between 0 and 3%...

there's nothing hypocritical about the truth. and the truth is, obama won the nomination a month ago. technically, with wisconsin - when hillary could no longer catch up in pledged delegates!

Barring that collapse for which you no doubt pray nightly, the numbers favor Mr. Obama. |

People were saying Hillary would win the game before the game even started. Now, people are saying Obama is a lock because it is the 4th quarter, there is only 1 minute left, and to win, Hillary needs 7 onside kicks.
But I suppose to some people (mudwhistle), these details are insignificant. |
