"Hysterical-Hillary verses the coffee machine" sullies your record a bit.

Do we insist on that perfect world you previously acknowledged does not exist ...

I will translate. That means I know you did not say there was a "perfect world".

the REAL irony of your request for a more constructive debate against the real opponent - mc cain - is the fact that one candidate is being FORCED to spend ALL of his time defending HIMSELF against the scurrilous personal attacks (instead of spending that energy debating mc cain) by the ruthless agenda of another democrat who's set on destroying HIM rather than mc cain.
and that given the nature of the electorate, a candidate CAN'T turn his attention to attacking mc cain, until he can turn his attention away from the attacks coming his own party.

That is the nature of the primary. When this matter is settled little will change except the direction of the attacks. While it is not a pretty process, Mr. Obama is being seasoned for the
real world of politics against the Republican machine. I am not arguing Ms. Clinton is doing Mr. Obama any favors; at least not intentionally. But this process
will get much of this nonsense aired and dealt with. Reverend Wright will go away
when he himself shuts up and puts Mr. Obama's candidacy above his own ego (the Clinton operative did not kidnap Reverend Wright and place him before the NAACP, the Reverend
went and spoke when he could just as easily stayed on vacation). Even then you can expect the Republican machine to continue the barrage, but perhaps, when even Chris Matthews calls out a Republican shill on his Wright obsession, it will fall on numbed ears. Again, no suggestion of favors or good things here, only the fact that these matters are going to be thrown into the mix and better now than later. You recall it was late in the season when the Swiftboats appeared, and Mr. Kerry's high-toned campaign ignored them.
Mr. Obama will have to fight, whether he, you or I want him to do so. The sooner he, you or I learn that the better for his campaign and his chances.
