Rep. Pete Stark, chairman of the House Ways and Means Health Subcommittee, endorses Obama

like i said yesterday, the big boys are starting to get on the bus!

CNN is currently reporting 8 of Edward's delegates going for Obama.

those are pledged delegates from primaries from before edwards dropped out - and i believe that CNN is actually off by one. i think he's got nine of those so far.

Obama picked up add-on delegates in Colorado and Kansas, caucus states where his wins guaranteed that his supporters would be picked for the add-on slots at the state conventions.

In Colorado, former Denver Mayor Federico Pena was selected, while Kansas Dems picked Lt. Gov. Mark Parkinson, who is interestingly a former chair of the state Republican Party.

Obama has pulled in the endorsement of Washington State Democratic Party Chairman Dwight Pelz this morning. Pelz told his supporters, "that Sen. Obama will be our nominee, and that it is time for us as Democrats to begin the final stretch of this historic 2008 campaign to take back America. It is time to unify our party around one candidate."
