Sen Byrd endorses
SD Kansas Democratic Party Chair Larry Gates i've lost count how many more he needs... getting a bunch of edwards' pledged delegates kinda screwed up the count! plus he got add-ons from three more states this weekend that had their state conventions. according to real clear politics: Total - obama 1908 clinton 1719 Super Delegates - obama 298 clinton 276 Pledged Delegates * obama 1610 clinton 1443

Obama has 1612.5 pledged, 300.5 super delegates totaling 1913.
Puts him 112 away from the nomination.

Yes it must be just you....... ![]() The Oregon people are going crazy and the Kentucky people are working their butts off along with several groups of people from surrounding states who have driven into Kentucky to give them a hand today! I have gotten over 400 emails in the last 18 hours--- The Obama teams are ON IT!!! The OREGON people are some hellified women who make me proud to be on any team they are are---TRULY great women! And Kentucky has a LOT of white males working with them to GOTV there---fabulous guys---truly awesome!! Our teams have such fabulous people that we don't even mind losing! We KNOW that these people did what could be done with what they have to work with! With Eric's permission I hope that many of these folks will join our community here when their time frees up! |

real clear politics is showing him with 303 supers now...
they've been pretty slow at updating their site lately. i think a lot of the supers are holding off till tomorrow, and many that have been honoring hillary's request to NOT commit till the last primaries vote will continue to try to do so. there are only 214 left uncommitted according to rcp.

It'd be funny as hell if Obama got to 2025 before the next set of primaries. I'd love to watch Hillary squirm while trying to exclaim she's "the better candidate" once that threshold is reached.

A Congresswoman from Guam endorsed Obama in last hour.
Wrong thread, but in today's Gallup Poll Obama leads Clinton 55-39. And I know Robert Byrd's endorsement was mentioned here, but I find it very moving. Byrd has been a hero to me since he so passinately argued against bombing Iraq, but he was once a KKK member. Sen. Robert Byrd, one-time KKK member, backs Barack Obama : Top of the Ticket : Los Angeles Times
