Jimmy Carter will endorse Barack Obama tonight:
ATLANTA — Former President Carter says he'll endorse Democrat Barack Obama after the polls close on the final primaries. Carter told The Associated Press on Tuesday: "The fact is the Obama people already know they have my vote when the polls close tonight." Carter spoke to the AP after addressing the Georgia World Congress Center. Carter, a superdelegate, has remained officially neutral in the race but has offered high praise to Obama. Carter has noted that his children, grandchildren and their spouses back the Illinois senator. South Dakota and Montana hold primaries Tuesday.

I am finding it hard to believe that Hillary has the GALL to be asking Superdelegates to hold of until Thursday.
Could this bitch really put herself this far above the party and everyone else in it? The VERY LAST second for her to leave graciously is by tomorrow AM at about 7AM EST! After that anything she does is irrelevant, imho! Somehow she still thinks this should be all on her terms. Additionally, did anyone else hear on MSNBC how some representative named Valasquez pushed this Hillary for VP thing on the phone conference. Still all about threats. Still all about putting Obama down to build Hillary up. Don't these people have the capacity to learn?? |

Almost 5:20 p.m. EST, Obama needs 20.5 delegates, per Chris
Matthews.

3 supers just switched from clinton to obama!!!!
maxine waters (CA) Ben Johnson (DC) “It’s time to close ranks behind Barack Obama, who has run an outstanding campaign and made many of us proud. This is no way diminishes my respect and admiration for Senator Clinton, who is a fine public servant who I have known for many years. But it is clear that Senator Obama has the momentum needed to help us win in November and I am proud to endorse him today.” DNC Kamil Hasan (CA) “I am endorsing Senator Obama as Democratic Party’s nominee not only because he has clearly won more pledged delegates, but I sincerely believe that he can provide the necessary leadership in taking this country in a new direction at this critical juncture in our history. Fortunately, we have had two excellent candidates. I have great admiration for Senator Clinton and the way she has run a spirited, high energy, issues based campaign. I am looking forward to continue to energize the Indo-American and the South-Asian communities in ensuring that Senator Obama becomes the next President of the United States. His election as the President of the United States will not only help unite a very divided nation, but elevate the image of the United States in the world to a level not seen since John Kennedy was the President.”
