Operation Perjury!

Just thought some here may be interested. I got this in an email.

Y'all may have heard that Rush Limbaugh is encouraging Republicans to vote for Hillary in the Democratic Primaries where they can. Indiana is a old school Republican State, and they can be expected to play this game in the open Primary up there. But, there is a unique opportunity to mess with the Republicans who wish to vote for Hillary in the Democratic primary this time.

As I remember, Indiana has a law on the books that ANY citizen can challenge another citizen's right to vote in a primary if they think the person is not truly a member of the party they are voting in. Upon challenge, the person must sign an affidavit asserting that either A) they voted for a democrat for a majority of their votes in the last general election, or B) that they will vote for majority of democrats in the coming general election. The affidavit is signed under penalty of perjury. Just making note of that could discourage Republicans from voting in the Democratic primary. Having people actually make the challenges would be a bonus!

If you know anyone in Indy, pass this along!

It would be hilarious to see this happen. It would be a mess, but it would be hilarious!

It would be wise of the democrats to lock in as many voters as possible to vote democratic or face perjury charges.

you know, I am glad you posted this about Indiana... I have been curious if what Limbaugh is doing is legal.
I mean, do we really live in a nation where a drug addled pyschotic fat slob can encourage fraudulent voting?

Should he be getting away with even suggesting it?
just curious if any one out there knows the laws...

Even if it is illegal, this particular drug addled, double chinned, overweight slob managed to get away with illegal hillbilly heroin possession and procurement, so I seriously doubt he'll face any charges for this stunt. Don't forget, he's rich and that counts no matter where you stand politically in the judicial system. I just hope his own body does him in, the sooner the better.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I doubt it's ability to succeed.

I mean, if someone would listen to Limbaugh, and vote in the wrong primary, how afraid would they be to sign an affidavit containing unverifiable statements?

In the meantime, the Dems get to look like paranoid, hysterics who can't manage their own primaries, again.

Sort of a win/win for the bad guys, I'm afraid.

Indiana doesn't register voters by polical party.

They may choose any ballot they feel like on the day of the primary.

Just because you got an email forwarded to you by somebody doesn't make it true. If it were so, I would have sent away for those pills so that my penis would grow ten inches and then my wife would love me more.

Besides, if she doesn't love me now, she won't love me more with a twenty inch penis.
