Yeah...baby! Love that logic.

Give it a fucking break!
The contrasts in Foreign Policy ARE stark, and McCain's knowledge and experience is much more attractive, than Obama's.

we will leave Iraq either way with a lage Democratic Congress.
Obama's problem is his willingness to squander the Prestige of Office of President on willy nilly summits with Iran, and Cuba " without pre-conditions"

Maybe if he makes the Iranians do a kowtow & the Cubans kiss his ring you right wingers will feel they have shown enough respect to the King of the earth.... Maybe if they just don't look upon his face or sing the Pledge of allegiance three times before every meeting......

One word for ya:

Wow.

I lied. A few more:

You must have missed the part where Obama stated 'it's ridiculous to think that I'm going to have tea with them. Of course measures will will need to be met before meeting.' (Paraphrasing, but give me a few and I'll find the clip for you.)

nice rant - that's all it is.

The President can't just meet without pre-conditions.
To do so, risks loss of US prestige, if the summit is not sucessful.

Also, it is a failure to use co-ercive diplomacy.
Your'e all for freeing political prisioners - correct?

They way to GET IT DONE is to tell Raul Cstro ( through lower level emmisarys)
" if you want trade ties with the US, you msut first release all political prisioners, and set up a viable election system"

It's the "carrot and the stick" idea, called co-ersive diplomacy in Policy.

I can't see why you would be opposed to it.
It's not warlike, it's not a threat.
It's a way of pressuring Castro to recognize Human rights, that helps him politically
( recognition and international standing ) and simultaneously helps his repressed people.
Win-Win

Truth Lion declares: Left-brain vs. right-brain; math vs. english. You are born left or right-handed, and also left or right-brained. The left-brain people are better at math; right-brain better at english (cave-men 4 presidentz).

The poor math people are currently no match for internet poets and writers. Even Obama enjoys the advantage, through his oration abilities.

The end.

I do, I am one of those who will not vote for Hillary Clinton. I have stated my reasons in several posts here. Hillary, by her recent actions and words, has only added to those reasons.

That is your prerogative and no one should suggest otherwise. However, this thread mocks Clinton supporters who have stated essentially the same position. I assume you believe those voters should have the same right to abstain should they choose to do so, even if many believe that is a path to nothing other than destruction.

Of course, they have the same right to vote or not to vote for whoever they choose. I have to say tho that I really havn't seen any good rational from people who purport to be democrats and support Hillary for not voting for Obama. The one rational I keep seeing from them is that "he can't win" and it just doesn't hold up to scrutiny or rational thought. Nobody has come remotely close to proving to me that Obama can't win and just as importantly, nobody has proven to me that Hillary can.

If one wishes to vote one's conscience, it seems to me voting against a McCain presidency is as legitimate a reason as any.

Some people take politics too seriously. This little planet is guided more by the Universe than any government.
