The question was in relation to the Exodus quote. It specifies monetary punishment, not capital one. As for the circumstances, in your view, they are pretty grave. If a man attacks another, and causes a miscarriage, this is a pretty serious manslaughter, if fetus is indeed a person. And yet the punishment is only a fine, capped by the court.

Why don't you just write your own bible? Your positions will become much more coherent. As it is, you already inserted 'accidental' into the verse, and now calling for more punishments... why not just dump this book in the trash? You are already well on the way in inventing your god in your own image anyway.

I finished sorting the laundry, so i'm out for the night... will go mountain biking tomorrow morning. Seriously, just proclaim yourself Jesus 2.0 and write a new book. This will not help your logic, but at least you will be able to create a set of assumptions you'll be comfortable with. G' night.

Yeah but what would he say if she went right back out and starting fucking the same day. He would have let them stone her. Get it right. You're not even a Christian so stop trying to pimp the Bible.

No I am not. Jesus is the law and could give the whore a pass, but if she kept with her whoring ways then stoning would have been meted. And Jesus probably would have cast the first stone.

If you are really that interested go look it up. I was expanding off of what Jesus did for the harlot. He gave her a break. But the price of sin is death. Jesus will mete such when he returns. Make no mistake about it. God's law is serious business.

I recall Jesus being a gentle peaceful forgiving compassionate man..Unfortunately his followers are a bunch of barbaric animals
