No, not being argumentative. I'm just wondering if you think a nation expanding their borders using the same means as the US of A during our birth would be good or bad in today's world.

I agree there are two sides to this coin, but, I'm talking about using the same tactics 'we' did.

Smallpox infested blankets and the like...Could we call that 'biological warfare'?

What about the English that starved 3/4's of my ancestors out of county Mayo Ireland?

can I have that land back? It's breathtaking...

i've pretty much given you the reasoning behing the birth of a nation.

and i've said repeatedly the brutality,should not be excused.

are you dense? didn't you read the long explanations i tried to lay out for you? it's not YES or NO.

Other countries may already exist - if they expand for colonial reasons, no that prolly wouldn't be moral.
ex. China annexing Tibet.

if they strive for freedom from tyranny. or oppression like in Abania, prolly yes.

But i've answered this in detail, feel free to disagree with the points I've made.
Don't try to put the complexities into 1 moral equation.
