In fact, I just heard him say that change must begin IN the campaign.

Here's how inept Barack Obama is. Mind, I'm not staying stupid. I certainly hope that, if you sat down and explained things to him, he'd get what you're talking about.

But Barack I'm-Not-Elite Obama asked a woman whether there's any consolidation going on, whether smaller farmers are being bought out.

He would also say, to the same woman, "You look really healthy, by the way." Does that replace Sweetie?

Because he hand-picked for something else...supporters got a surprise email that, unfortunately, blah blah. Perhaps I'll look for an email from an offended supporter. Perhaps not. Insofar as I know it happened, and I know it's verifiable, it's not a priority. That's how pragmatists roll.

Anyone who does not know that conglomeration has been going on for some time in our Heartland-read-that-Bread-Basket...Monsanto being one of the King Pins...is ill-informed in the extreme.

It has been LARGELY Big Pharmaceuticals who have been buying up the arable land. And they buy the small farmers' subsidies right along with the land. The subsidies that were going to the small farmers who couldn't afford to farm go to whichever Player bought the land to which the subsidy applies.

'Course, you'd have to talk to farmers to know this. Or work in Big Drugs. Or Big Government...different divisions of the same Complex.

The good news is, once Big Money owns all the arable land, they'll no doubt legalize marijuana. Hmmm, maybe I should stay.

Hey, I just thought of something.

John Edwards was unambiguous in declaring that he would ORDER the end of DEA raids on medical marijuana pharmacies. This practice is NOTHING short of grand theft, each instance.

Now that John Edwards has thrown his support to Barack Obama, may we anticipate that Barack Obama will have the balls to take the same stand?

So, are you suggesting that it was orchestrated and not impromptu, as was the implication?

Or, are you suggesting that rural folk require leading in order to formulate their thoughts and express them in their own words?

doubtful that Clinton or Obama will say ANYTHING controversial.
Clinton has been outspoken on National Security, and her doctrine of immediate retaliation has been backed by Biden, as rational.

Obama is still kinna nebulous for me on these issues.

I ned to see more of what he will say about hard choices that will face us.

LOL Jimmy Carter promised to decriminalize Maryjane..

I'm still waiting to light that splif up

Gee Chanty, don't you get it - Pot will be legal once there are no more independent family farms. That's how pragmatists roll.

I can play the copy and paste game, too:

So, because you say so, Obama doesn't know what's going on...

Yeah, that's an argument you'll win.

He asks someone a question about consolidation and if they've seen or heard about it going on...and you leap to he knows nothing about Monsanto...

Forget Monsanto. I'm jumping to the conclusion that the Man of Change, from Illinois by way of the islands, product of Ivy League education, is NOT ON TOP OF THINGS AT ALL, except conceptually.

If groovy conceptual thinking absent practical application were enough to get America out of this mess, there are any number of people online who could step up and get 'er done.

I know, I know...I'm not of of 'em.

Good.
