You are another who has cost Obama votes.

Hmmm...a plant? Or a dope? It is sometimes difficult to distinguish between them.

But since you DO bring it up again, let's re-visit it. You obviously want to.

Are you under the impression that a man who looks like Barack Obama practiced abstinence prior to his marriage? Or are you simply confident that the Incredible Barack Obama always practiced safe sex?
What a circle jerk you have taken everyone on with this thread. Cheap you are in need of serious psychotic meds. You are hallucinating conspiracies now.

By 'leading the witness' I'd be willing to wager she meant 'Obama knew about Monsanto and wanted to get a view from someone living in the land thereof'. But that's just my spin on it.

He's embarrassing because he asked a question??? By that logic, do you hold Bush in high esteem for not asking questions?

(I know you don't, but you've got to give me more to work with here.)

GOP operative? Good one. They think I have a fine mind but a communist heart.

Now that things are so shitty, though, they're willing to listen. Unlike Democrats, who have fought me every step of the way. I know, I know, that's because I'm a racist moron. We'll see.

The uncorrupted part of the Republican party...which DOES exist, loathe that Democrats are to concede that or anything else...which comprises most of Big Business, it bears mention, is even prepared to take some hits. But not from people who don't know what the fuck they're doing, like Democrats.

Let's set aside the craziness of presuming to know the heart and conscience of a person we don't know. Those of you who are so "sure" about Barack Obama's character are ridiculous...it's like having a crush on some lead singer and "knowing" them by their performances on stage and their appearances in print.

It is economic fallacy and it is economic folly to fantasize that a person with a good heart and sound principles can't make a bad situation worse.

Yes rational but not viable! But I would agree with Biden that the crazed loser needed SOMEONE to show charity with a gratutious remark --- no matter how small and insignificant---Certainly the rest of the country's politicians are giving each other the side glances and treating her like the demented old lady that she is. Biden threw her a bone as any gentleman would.

Isn't it funny how those who reach a certain age and still brag about their substance abuses ALSO relate so intimately to the poor half working class folk and find it difficult to understand those with successes in their lives?

Has it not occured to you that politics may be designed for those who spend a substantial part of their lives in full control of their faculties? For the rest of you --- it may seem "nebulous".........

I would doubt that this was impromptu in the sense that he randomly picked people from the audience. The conversation was improvisational.

For the lady cruiser---that means a conversation where the participants are selected based on the desire to have a topic addresses but there is no script for either side.

One of the people was a 5th generation family farmer---the other was a 4th generation family farmer. The third was a president who wanted to converse with farmers regarding the issues facing them.

That is LIKELY why these people were invited to join Obama on the stage instead of pulling a HILLARY where you had people a mike then snatch it out of their hand and have them removed if you don't like the question.

OH and in case this is too nebulous for you---impromptu conversatsions and improvisational conversations would require some serious parsing to distinguish them. Would you like me to do that for you?

nobody else would attempt to defend the gop like you do.

You know what! It just occured to me that this is why the same group of ignoramuses get pissy pants about the notion of "without" preconditions!

They have no clue that someone can have an agenda for a conversation and pursue that agenda without jumping up and down and fluttering a finger screeching "shame on you"!!

Obama clearly had specific issues that he wanted to make certain were incorporated (and addressed) in his conversation. He asked about those issues that were not volunteered.

This ilk of person, having NEVER been a leader, has NO idea how competent leadership looks when they see it! All they understand is something like thunderthighs clapping while a lunatic rages about how they must and will be protected be lead by a schizoid who crys one day and tantrums the next.

I view him more from a scientific perspective.

A. He's human.

B. He's 46(?).

C. The year is 2008.

D. The country is the United States of America.

E. He got one of the best educations humans currently offer.

F. Brain seems to be healthy.

G. His IQ(?)

H. His ability, in the past, to get the job done (unlike Bush who failed over and over and over and over and over again, only succeeding through cheating and his father).

I. Other stuff.

Heart and conscience are religious or philosophical concepts. If that's what you go by, you won't get far.

You are correct---that is why I included the "so to speak". I was trying to find something that her TV viewing might have made her familiar with----guess I'll have to reach a little lower next time.

The best you could try to argue is that he could have ---- instead of asking a question and allowing the lady to share her personal perspective---he could have pulled the attention whores tactics and put words in the ladies mouth by making a Hillho statement like;

"YOU are having problems with consolidation too aren't you! I get to tell you that because I have 35 years of experience."
