Christians and/or conservatives apologize here.

Christians!

Oh ye’ Oh ye’, repent o’ ye spinners who hath voted to office a man of convictions…well many criminal convictions to come I am sure…but if you’ve rejoined our little community of human beings and are at least a half-way SANE person of a humbly-typed religion I fear you not…unless you fail to apologize then you just suck.

Conservatives!

I axe you, have your elected “conservative” officials been conservative? Have you felt represented lately? Noticed the deficit?

After you get off your knees then I ask: are either of you (if it’s not both) willing to vote for a sane candidate?

OBAMA ‘08

This is a another false choice, since when have Christians who practice the doctrine of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" and "judge not lest you be judged" been big fans of George W Bush? Conservatives aren't the root of all evil either, there are some very principled conservatives who didn't vote for Bush. Please stop trying to create a wedge between Obama and religious people or conservatives.

Well, did YOU vote for the monkey or not? Once, twice?

Maybe if enough people used those two doctrines instead of all the other ambigious crap then we'd have been ok...but that's NOT what happens when religion creeps into government.

* was helped to be elected (installed) using hot button issues to stir up the religious right. While wars were going on in '04 suddenly the big issues were about flag burning and other gay shit...not about poverty, deaths, losses of our basic civil rights, the cost of a corrupt government...too many to name.

And also after 9-11 people flocked to the churches in fear, then * promised faith baised monies and all the other usual crap, overturn women's rights, make the US into a christian theocracy, kill as many middle-easterners as they can...you know, the usual death and destruction, typical religious war shit...

Pat Robertson...an un-American religious (with all due respect...lol) fuckwad. He started Regent University...where *'s administration hired 150 of these people from this 4th tier law school)...well, read for yourself:

Scandal puts spotlight on Christian law school
Grads influential in Justice Dept.
By Charlie Savage, Globe Staff | April 8, 2007

Scandal puts spotlight on Christian law school - The Boston Globe

" Graduates of the law school have been among the most influential of the more than 150 Regent University alumni hired to federal government positions since President Bush took office in 2001, according to a university website."

ô¿ô Vote now! Be a man...or whatever.

Only a misguided person would vote for Obama. I was reading his platform the other day, and was appalled at the guilibility one would have to possess to buy into his tripe.

The thing that was most agregious was his promise to create millions of new jobs. People, in political speak, that means taxpayer supported government jobs and jobs related to government projects. Immediately, the bridge to nowhere came to mind.

My gawd, aren't our taxes high enough already?

To mis-quote Gandhi, something someone here uses/used as a sig line: "I like your Christ very much, it's you Christians I don't understand."

Cookie's not what you'd call a real Christian. The first thing she bitches about are Obama's promises to help people. She forgets the second of Jesus' two commandments.

Yes, our taxes are high enough. Our spending is higher, which brings me to ask how you call yourself a Republican AND Fiscally Responsible? Fiscally Responsible Republicans are now residing in the Moderate Democrat camp, or are Independents like myself.

Democrat spending is a myth when compared to the spending of the last three GOP presidents.
