Good for him! Quite the contrast with McCain, Bush smeared McCain's family during the 2000 primary season and he said virtually nothing. That's one of the things that really turned me off about McCain. I had a pretty favorable opinion of him before that even tho he was a republican. You can attack me all you want but mess with my loved ones and there will be hell to pay.

That bit between Barack and Michelle over the dog was funny.

i completely agree! to see mc cain licking bush's butt after what bush did just makes me want to puke.

if mc cain's so principled, that episode ALONE makes one wonder what the FUCK his principles ARE!

and of course, it's just ONE example of him having no principles.
there's the right wing fundie ministers he courted after speaking out so forcefully against them, there's the lobbyists he rails against publically and employs privately, there's his complete "360" on tax cuts for the rich and corporations, and his brand spanking new "vision" of being out of iraq by the end of his first term - to name just a FEW!

shit, the list is so long that it makes one wonder what planet anyone's on who claims mc cain is a man of any kind of principle!

he may have been actually principled at one time, but that man "died" years ago, and was replaced by a political whore who's only guiding principle NOW appears to be doing and saying WHATEVER is politically expedient enough to get him into the white house.

he's gone from a national hero to being nothing but a creepy desperate pathetic old political sell-out.

Can you imagine the attacks that we'd have to endure if ANY poster dared to say the positive things that Michelle dared to say about Hillary?

They remember Michael Dukakis. When asked what would he do if his wife was raped he went into a scholarly soliliquy about establishing a blue ribbon panel.

I bet in January 2010 we'll see Obama walking the family dog in the snow in front of the White House.
