I think it would be wonderful to see someone come out and claim their moral and ethical codes as their own, rather than the product of an organization founded for the worship of the intangible.

This is true. And, I am all for it.

Unfortunately, though, there are a SHIT TON of people in this country who vote strictly by religious affiliation.

Sad but true.

Bush says he's a Christian, but what if any of his actions have been Christ-like?

bush has done nothing that I can think of Christ-like......... he has the blood of millions on his hand....... He has turned two hundred + years of democratic evolution on it's head w/ spying on Americans & torture.......
