If it makes you feel any better, it gets kinda lonely around here for me too. I'm probably the only libertarian left that posts here. No longer do I see the thoughtful posts from Brainpolice and from the old BM board, CBD.
I particularly miss the debates on economics and global warming.
I also no longer see many thoughtful posts from the Right, such as Dougdougless, on the old board.
Actually, I miss the rants, debates and insults from the Left, too. Number Six comes to mind.
But back to Hillary... I'd think it's damn hard to defend her, the lightning rod she has always been and probably more so now.

I don't formally call myself a libertarian anymore...partly because it hinders discussion with people since they seem to attack the ideology instead of the argument....

Same here, not Libertarian, but libertarian. I'd consider myself an independent thinker who will defend the right as well as the left, as well as attack both when I deem it appropriate.

Neither. She made it very clear that he could get assassinated and that gives validity to notion she should stay in the race. There's no two ways about that and no other interpretations for it. It was a despicable thing to say from a despicable person, I really thought she was beyond something that low but I was proven wrong once again. She not only will fail in this race but I believe it will ruin any chance she's ever had of gaining the presidency.

She was talking a time frame.

I'm not making excuses for her words - they are so hurtful to anyone who cares about RFK.

But unless you think she wants him dead.....in which cxase there is no point in going any further.

She should apologize for the content of the statement, but not the intenet of physicall harm
What do you think you are doing if not making excuses for her? What do you call it?

Again---what "CONTENT" are you thinking should be apologized for? Lying about when her husband had the nomination again?

Why would this be hurtful to the RFK family---were you thinking they did not know that RFK was assasinated?

Or any other of 10 examples.

She knew what she was doing. She knows why she was doing it. If this lady makes this many mistakes when she is tired then she is CERTAINLY not competent to serve in any capacity in the White House.

It frankly makes me no difference what disasater she says her campaign is dependent upon.

It is beyond pathetic and distasteful to hold the party hostage while you HOPE for a problem to arise. Regardless of what Obama says this woman should be drummed out of the party.

Maybe they could give her a note telling her to take 5 years and catch up on her sleep!

Unfortunately, you seem to be the only Hillary supporter left on this board. I say "unfortunately" because I enjoy the debate and arguement with/against different viewpoints. I welcome Mudwhistle's posts.
Winthrop has not had a post since H.'s statement. JD's posts are few and far between since he stated he will no longer support H.
TeriB.'s posts are rare. The others have long since left.
I'm wondering if this is a trend in general, that she just doesn't have anyone left to rationally support her other than her "core constituents", and you know who I'm talking about.
It seems the Hillary supporters spend most of their efforts in apologizing for her statements and actions, not defending her stances/ viewpoints , whatever they are.
Go over to the HillaryClintonforum.net You can find all of them there.

Or go to Rumblesville and you will find that JD came here to float a HUGE lie---he is still fully supporting every lie and murderous effort of Hillary.

They just prefer to post somewhere where their perpetuation of all sorts of lies and misinformation are tolerated.

Is it just me, or did Obama not say there was no malice? I believe all he said was comments like Hillary's have no place in the election.

She is a Senator. She is trying to run for President.

As K.O said, she should know better than to even utter the word 'assassination'. She made her point about Bobby and Bill running into June WITHOUT using the word 'assassination' many times.

(She lied about Bill, but you can read about that in other threads.)

I disagree---one was a response to a fact---that had been well reviewed in the news and that Hillary KNEW the truth of.

This is in response to something that only the person making the murderous statement (Hillary) could know. It speaks to her motives.

Obama could have pulled a Hillho move and INSISTED that her motives were raunchy and that she be held accountible for them in the media---or he could chose NOT to feed the flames.
