It' like 1AM, so my brain can't think of any concrete examples.
BTW - I've condemed the statement, but not the person,
because I just don't think Hillary wants Obama dead/ others here seem to cling on to that view. so again: what's the point.

I'm just a dumb thickheaded Polok - so it don't bother me.
I come here to try to make a few points, but i don't expect to be listened to, or taken seriousy.
So why is it okay for you to condemn the statement and not the person making it?

Why don't you have to disown her?

That was the argument you adamantly made regarding Obama and his pastor for several weeks!

Why would you insult an entire group of people by trying to hide your moral relativity behind their heritage?

Is there ANY moral standard that you have----ANY principle that does not mold to your whim and fancy? Do you have ANY OUNCE of integrity whatsoever?

I also no longer see many thoughtful posts from the Right, such as Dougdougless, on the old board.
Actually, I miss the rants, debates and insults from the Left, too. Number Six comes to mind.
But back to Hillary... I'd think it's damn hard to defend her, the lightning rod she has always been and probably more so now.
When those folks stop in they seem to get into the non election forums and stay away from Election 2008. I was not at the BM forums very often but I read there from time to time.

Brainpolice is here more than the rest---but definitely not as a Hillary supporter (doesn't seem to be an ENTHUSIASTIC mccain supporter either---which may be part of why the right is relatively silent right now.)

Her statement yesterday may well have ruined her chance of regaining her senate seat as well.

Because of the CONTINUING anti-American hate speech by the Rev. Hatemonger spewed for over 20 years with Obama's tacit approval - that is the difference.

You'd have to believe Hillary WANTS Obama killed.
You'd have to see a lifetime pattern of her hate; to equate the 2.

Even Obama says it was done by fatique - which doesn't excuse the statement in itself - but does excuse the speaker,
as long as she fully apologizes, ( Something else "the good rev" refuses to do)

agreed it was despicable, i have never said otherwise.
Your projection of her as such a person, simply is different than mine is of her.

Wright was a pastor not a hatemonger.

Hillary has a LONG ---- VERY LONG---VERY WELL DOCUMENTED History of hateful racist slurs!

You did not accept Obama's feelings about his pastors words!

What kind of fucking HYPOCRTITE are you to chose to accept what he has to say about Hillary's words now?

I can't see Brainpolice as a McCain supporter of any variety, enthusiastic or otherwise. I can't speak for him, but I believe he's a libertarian of the Austrial School of economics. On the Bill Maher forums, I remember him being more a minarchist, but he seems to have moved toward free market anarchism lately. I doubt he's a supporter of anyone in this election.

Ya. some "pastor" - " how to depise America in 20 years or less"

Coming from YOU - the race card player of all times; means squat when you talk about Hillary's 'racism'

I took Obama's word for it when He FINALLY disowned that character-
but nothing Wright said at the Press Club was any different than what he's said for years..

What kinna ENABLER are you, that you allow his words to stand as a "pastor" ??
