clinton dropping out tomorrow night?

Clinton plans New York speech

By JIM KUHNHENN, Associated Press Writer 7 minutes ago

RAPID CITY, S.D. - Hillary Rodham Clinton will give her post-primary speech in New York Tuesday night, a rare departure from the campaign trail.

Staffers who have worked for her on he ground in Puerto Rico, South Dakota and Montana have been invited to attend the event or go home for further instructions, campaign aides said. The New York senator had no other events Tuesday. She planned to address AIPAC Wednesday in Washington.

But she is under increasing pressure to cede the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama after the final primaries. There was a sense of denouement in the campaign. She planned to rally with husband and former President Clinton and their daughter Chelsea in South Dakota Monday night — a reunion usually reserved for election nights.

sounds like it. prolly a "suspension" of her campaign.

good for her - she did it right, got all the primaries in as a candidate, without taking it further -like to the convention.

Yes, good for her indeed. Good thing her campaign released that pic of Obama in Africa in native garb looking like one of Ali Baba's Forty Thieves. Good for her that she praised her voters as "hard working white Americans." Good for her that she felt the need to justify her campaign running into June because of RFK's assasination, especially with the fortieth anniversary coming up. All kidding aside, I don't begrudge Mrs. Clinton the right to run for President. It's how she did it that makes me sick. The race baiting, the acceptance of Hillary votes courtesy of Limbaugh's Operation Chaos, the threat to obliterate Iran, the unholy alliance with Richard Mellon Scaife, these are all things I'd normally expect from the Republicans. Hillary has damaged the Democratic party and she's "good" for absolutely nothing.

That's all she needs to do. See, no need to wait for Obama to be assassinated all she has to do is suspend.

Well there would have been no reason to run the race she did if they would have just given her the nomination in the first place. There wouldn't have been any need for dirty politics if America would have gotten in line.

You are being too cynical. Maybe Mrs. Clinton has been promised the vice presidency by the Demo bigwigs?

So she's not sick for saying that but we are for quoting her and calling her out on that? Cosmo, that logic is as convoluted as the Enron math that Hillary uses to "prove" she's won the popular vote. You're engaging in deflection once again.
