An OVERWELMING sense of ENTITLEMENT!
Whether it is because of her race or because of her husband ----Hillary Clinton clearly has an overwelming sense of entitlement!
Her campaign is all over the cable news insisting that Obama should not announce tonight and celebrate his clinching the nomination. He should ignore his historic accomplishment to defer to her desire to celebrate the end of her campaign. And yes----they are serious! They have actually suggested that Obama will have months to celebrate so this should just be a night for Hillary and her Harriet Christians to whine and bellyache about their loss (all under the label -guise- of a celebration). Even those of us who have admired Obama for his always finding a way to offer an olive branch yet maintain the strength of his convictions AND continue to pursue his goals have no truck with giving Hillary 5 more seconds in the spotlight as it relates to this campaign. Let her spend the next week climbing out of the mud pit she has waddled in for the last 4 months. Let her take a year or two for the stench of her foul arcane tactics to diffuse. Maybe ------ ONLY MAYBE ----- then should she try to return to the table with decent folks! Why does she THINK this moment should be about her --- at all?? |
