is it the campaign ?or the media? or parts of the campaign?

There is prolly the usual spascitiy going on there though.
That ( Hillary's) campaign was the worst since McGovern's.

Honey, they all lied all day Saturday. If God were inclined to strike them with lightning, he would have done so then.

One of the Eternal Whiners actually said that Obama took his name off the Michigan ballot because he was afraid that he could not
defeat Hillary. Never mind the fact that Biden, Richardson, and Edwards also removed their names -- to comply with DNC rules.

The median I.Q. of Hillary's base has to be 75 or 80. They will believe anything.

And if the plea for her to be VP is coming from her
people, RK is right -- she wants them to get all
hysterical when he chooses someone else.

Fine, if she has to be and that's what Obama wants but it would be nice to see her show just a fucking tidge of humility for once in her life.

how very magnanimous of her

i can see her "concession" speech: "while senator obama is now the official democratic nominee, i think i'll let him pick me as his vice president because of my experience and the 17 million who support me, even though they were unable to donate. i would bring more to a joint ticket than senator obama and it would be foolish of him to pass me up."

i just brought up yahoo here at work:

WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton told colleagues Tuesday she would consider joining Barack Obama as his running mate, and advisers said she was withholding a formal departure from the race partly to use her remaining leverage to press for a spot on the ticket.

On a conference call with other New York lawmakers, Clinton, a New York senator, said she was willing to become Obama's vice presidential nominee if it would help Democrats win the White House, according to a participant who spoke on condition of anonymity because this person was not authorized to speak for Clinton.

I've said all along whichever of the two loses the nom, they'll be the other's running mate ala Reagan/Bush.

Hypocracy is the name of the road in D.C. that leads to employment.

Just the fact that she's even mentioning this does her in either way. There's no way she can recover anyway but this is a concession no matter how you look at it. Obama needs to do the right thing here and take his time in choosing a running mate, he's got the nomination and this is nothing but a threat from Hillary but one that can only bite her back.

Some interesting comments by Howard Fineman about Hillary for Vice President: one thing on the table is that Obama offer her the Vice Presidency with the understanding that she won't take
it.

Hillary is adamant that Obama not pick another woman to run with him.

Bill Clinton is itching to redeem himself by campaigning for Obama.

A lot of Hillary's aides wanted her to quit a month ago.

It is enough with the tiptoeing around her. Forget it. There will always be people that will not vote for him. 5 months is a long time to campaign with a new VP choice. Hillary can forget it.
