In other words the driving public are dependent on the Federal Government for cheap gas.

But you said you should never depend on the Federal Government for anything.

So let's repeal all those tax breaks and incentives for the oil companies and make them pay for their own security of Middle East shipping lanes.

Being that you are not from the area and really do not have a fucking clue about what goes on when preparing for a hurricane you should just shut your piehole.

You are ridiculous and verging on hysteria with your passionate but misinformed concern from what you consider "poor people".
Listen carefully Fucktard, the Mississippi, Lake Ponchartrain, and the Gulf are all connected. The massive system of levees failed, the hurricane passed and did no damage to the architecture and infrastructure. New Orleans is well below sea level. Plenty of people who weren't on welfare lost their homes and their lives. Dead is dead, it's got fuck all to do with the bullshit you spew about welfare, probably imbecilic talking points you get from Sean Hannity or redstate.com. You are a peerless moron, a legend in your own mind. And as far as storms, I live in Boston and managed to ride out the once in a blue moon "perfect storm" of 1991 so don't try preaching to me about weather Jackoff. You should shut your yap and get lost.

Most of the people who stayed were too stubborn to leave or did not take the warnings seriously enough. When a city is below sea level it will fill up like a toilet bowl, I am sure you are quite familiar with that, Isux.

And the authorities should have made every attempt to evacuate those who couldn't make it on their own. I blame those idiots that lead that city and state more than anything else, Nagin and Blanco.

So to stay there and "ride it out" was foolhardy. Whether it was a direct hit hurricane or the dreaded aftermath, either way to be caught up in that was not the wise choice.

It is not like this was a tsunami, like I said before, THEY HAD PLENTY OF TIME TO PREPARE. THEY LIVED IN A FUCKING BOWL BELOW SEA LEVEL. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN?

And congrats on riding out the "perfect storm", how many days did it take you to shovel out or were you out there swordfishing? I was there too asshole and it was nothing compared to a hurricane.

Many sectors include wind and solar depend on federal subsidies. I would get rid of all of them.

As much as possible.
