WSJ: Clinton Used Expletive In 'Unpleasant' Conversation With Clyburn

Clinton's Road to Second Place - WSJ.com

From a story in Wednesday's Wall Street Journal:

Among the party leaders Mr. Clinton alienated over time by his angry tirades was South Carolina's Rep. Jim Clyburn, the third-ranking House leader and a civil-rights-movement veteran.

Before South Carolina's primary, Mr. Clyburn admonished Sen. Clinton for suggesting President Johnson deserved more credit than Martin Luther King Jr. for civil-rights laws. On primary night, Mr. Clinton called Mr. Clyburn and they spoke for 50 minutes. "Let's just say it wasn't pleasant," Mr. Clyburn says.

Mr. Clinton called Mr. Clyburn an expletive, say Democrats familiar with the exchange. Mr. Clyburn's office would confirm only that the former president used "offensive" words. Some day soon, the congressman says, he'll write about the incident. On Tuesday, he endorsed Mr. Obama for president.

ironic, isn't it, that the hillary supporters continue to lecture obama supporters on graciousness...

Sorry I posted this, too. This is why Hillary should not even be
considered for Vice President. I am sure Barack Obama knows exactly what "offensive" word Bill Clinton used to address Rep. Clyburn.

Since you are using this thread as a veiled, or not so much, reference
to another thread, and you still insist on obsessing over now
irrelevant participants in a now ended primary campaign, I will
address your comment about "graciousness". In that thread a Clinton
supporter congratulated Mr. Obama on his win and praised his
speech, then went on to say he would happily vote for Mr. Obama and
put behind him the rancor he had experienced.
He was greeted with derision and more of the same claims of
"racism", and one "welcome" laced with warnings that he had better
not talk about the campaign continuing, even though he had
mentioned nothing of the kind.

Ms. Clinton has demonstrated she has little class or sense of fairness.
Mr. Obama has demonstrated he has both qualities.
It is interesting some of his supporters share more qualities with his
former opponent, for whom they daily express their extreme dislike
(must not call it "hate", remember), than the share with their
candidate.

ahhh, so i see you HAVE really turned into a stalker, now, too.

i've heard stories, but until now, i didn't personally put you in that category.

you need to spend less time obsessing about others and go back on a personal inner journey. you don't even take your own advice anymore. your "high ground" credibility is almost nonexistent at this point.

if i were you, i wouldn't bother to attempt to take the high ground, anymore. maybe you should just go back and shoot for "truth", first.

I am a "stalker" because I respond to references to me, however
poorly hidden they may be?
How am I a "stalker", but others who follow posters around aiming
all sorts of slurs in their direction are not "stalkers"?
Here, look at this mirror:

What a joke.
